Remote Consultation Working Together From A Distance: There are lots of reasons to work together remotely, whether to reduce travel time, work within a tight budget, or maintain social distancing for health reasons. Through digital technology, we are able to help your project come to fruition despite the space between us. Remote Site Assessment: Working with video conferencing, we can record a “virtual walk-through” of your property, and help you gather necessary information for moving forward with your project. Depending on your site and project goals, we can use the information gathered during these Remote Consultations to create a Concept Plan or Design, and help you manage the installation from a distance. DIY with Ongoing Support: Many of our clients want to do the work themselves, and benefit from the accountability and support that comes with regular coaching sessions.
Onsite or Remote: Coaching can take place with onsite visits, as well as remotely, depending on your needs.

Our Online Courses Both our onsite and online courses and workshops start by providing an overview of the edible landscape and food forest concepts around the world. Then each of our workshop dives into specific techniques and technology for successful edible landscape design and development in your region.
Our programs look at best practices that consider soil structure, typography, water, drainage, climate, goal development as well as the botanical structure of food forests. We explore the roles that plants play in an ecological system. You will learn how to identify niches to determine what plants could be best for your location and how to steward the soil in your climate zone for the cultivation of perennial food systems. We guide you in creating guilds or beneficial relationships between your plants in your food forest. Ecological functions explores unique ways that plants benefit environments.and how to build relationships that considering wildlife and pollinators in your food forest and we include information on a permaculture approach for discouraging pests and diseases. We guide you on the management needs and potential yields from your food forest. We will look at how food forests change throughout the year.
